About Frequently Called Departments

The Frequently Called Departments feature takes advantage of departmental calling patterns to improve speech recognition.

When Frequently Called Departments is enabled, the Vocera Voice Server accumulates data about the frequency of calls made from users in one department to users in another (or the same) department. When a call is made, the server uses this data to weight user names in the speech recognition grammars, favoring members of more frequently called departments. This weighting improves overall speech recognition considerably.
Note: The Frequently Called Departments feature improves the speech recognition of calls made from one user to another, not calls made to departments or groups.
