To install a Certificate Server, perform the following:

Choose Add or Remove Programs from the Control Panel.

Select Add/Remove Windows Components.

Ensure that the Certificate Services component is checked
and click Next.

Select Enterprise root CA and click
Next.

Enter the name for your CA, and click Next.

For Certificate Database Settings, accept the defaults and click
Next.
IIS is not required unless you intend to use Web Enrollment.

Click Finish and reboot the computer.
