Vocera has a specific list of certificate formats that are supported.
On the client (badge), Vocera supports the SHA1 based PEM certificate file format. Other certificate formats, such as DER, PFX, and P12 are not supported for the client.
To convert certificates to PEM format from another format, you can use tools such as OpenSSL. For more information, refer to http://www.openssl.org/. On the authentication server, you can use the certificate format that your server supports.
