About Vocera Staff Assignment User Sessions

Vocera Staff Assignment is a Web application, allowing multiple users to log in and make staff assignments for your Vocera system. Administrators can log into Vocera Staff Assignment to manage the sessions of users who have logged in. For example, if any users have incorrectly left their session open after their shift has ended, the administrator can close the sessions to allow other users to log in and use the application license.

When all of your organization's Vocera Staff Assignment Premier client licenses are currently being used, users can still log into Vocera Staff Assignment but they won't have access to Vocera Staff Assignment Premier features (see Using Staff Assignment Premier Features). However, users with System Administration permission who log into Vocera Staff Assignment with their Vocera username and password rather than logging in as "Administrator" always have access to Vocera Staff Assignment Premier features - including session management.
