Assigning Staff Assignment Premier Licenses to Users and Groups

If your organization has purchased a select number of Staff Assignment Premier licenses, the Vocera system administrator can assign those licenses to specific users and groups. This ensures that users who have been assigned a Staff Assignment Premier license will always have access to extended functionality when they log in. Users who have not been assigned a Staff Assignment Premier license will automatically log in with the Staff Assignment Standard license.

You can assign Staff Assignment Premier licenses to a group that has more members than there are available licenses. When all Staff Assignment Premier licenses are in use, users who subsequently log in will automatically get the Staff Assignment Standard license.

To assign a Staff Assignment Premier license to a user or group:

  1. On the Setup tab, click Licenses. The Premier Licenses dialog box appears.
  2. In the Find User/Group field, start typing the last name of a user or the name of a group. A list of matching users or groups appears.
  3. Click a user or group. The Add To Premier Licenses dialog box appears.
  4. Click Yes to add the user or group to the list.
  5. Click Close to close the Premier Licenses dialog box.
