The following list contains fixes and improvements made by VS 5.2 Hot Fix 3.
Fixed: Deadlock condition during grammar processing can lead to a speech recognition outage – This situation is now properly detected and handled appropriately (US21722).
Fixed: Memory leak can lead to tomcat outage on standby server – The condition leading to the memory leak is now properly handled (DE11384).
Fixed: Message sent from VCS or VMP web console to a voice group with over 1000 members not delivered to all users – Messages can now be delivered to a group containing more than 1000 users (DE11265).
Fixed: VRS maintenance operations may not complete successfully when Windows is installed with a non US-English locale settings – The maintenance operations now run properly (DE11520).
Fixed: Custom dictionary entries incorrectly replace similar entries in the system dictionary – Custom dictionary entries are now additive (US22508).
Fixed: Under heavy load web connections such as staff assignment may be slower than expected – The Tomcat thread settings have been adjusted to correct the issue (US21971).
Fixed: Spelled name accuracy is lower than spoken name accuracy – The accuracy of spelled name recognition has been improved (US22205).
Enhanced: A new configuration option is available to adjust the group call timeout - The group call timeout can be adjusted using a new system property (SysWaitForAnswerMaxBeeps). This property is set to 5 by default and can be increased to adjust the overall group call timeout. Each increment will add 10 seconds to the group call timeout, example: setting the property to 10 will result in a 100 second timeout (US22817).

Fixed: Server crash triggered by an exception during multiple simultaneous large group messages – This situation is now properly handled (DE10677).
Fixed: Optimization of the disk cache used for recognition requests – The disk cache is now configured for better performance of the recognition process (US21537).
Fixed: Race condition causes dispatch timeout and server shutdown – This rare condition is no longer occurring (DE10711).
Fixed: The Badge Configuration Utility (BCU) does not successfully install from the Vocera Installer – The Vocera Server Installer currently completes the BCU Installation with no issues. (DE10598).

Fixed: Race condition during speech port allocation can cause an exception - This situation is now properly handled (DE10635).
Improved: New logging to show real-time speech port usage - A new log line has been introduced to show information about real time speech port usage and number of queued speech port requests.
Improved: Optimized recovery when all speech ports are busy - Users who cancel while all speech ports are busy are now properly removed from the list of queued speech port requests.
