Known Issues
A few issues are known to exist in the Vocera Voice Server 5.11.x platform
and this section summarizes all the known issues in the release.
Known Issues in the Vocera Voice Server
This section summarizes known product defects and limitations, including any
workarounds we may have, for the Vocera Voice Server 5.11.x
platform.
- CRVC-28305 In Staff Assignment, users are locked out after the second
invalid password attempt instead of the intended third attempt.
- CRVC-28333 When a Smartbadge user goes off-network without logging
out and is subsequently auto-logged out after the preconfigured interval,
the device will attempt to re-login once it reconnects to the network.
However, the server will automatically log the user out again. This
additional login cycle may result in the user being unexpectedly removed
from dynamic groups that were assigned after the initial auto-logout.
- CRVC-28395 Shutting down through the Control Panel and starting
through the system tray icon intermittently prevents the Voice Server from
successfully transitioning to Active or Standby states.
- CRVC-28578 'Invalid Password' error occurs when logging into the User
Console.
- G5W-16457 In rare cases, a user or group may appear with an incorrect
name in the Smartbadge directory. This situation occurs when a Smartbadge
user has both a user and a group added to their favorites, and both entries
share the same internal numerical ID in the VMP database. As a result, the
Smartbadge favorites directory displays both the user and the group with the
same name.
