The rest of this section summarizes the new features in this release.

Care Team Sync requires the following Vocera components and services:

• Vocera Voice Server 4.4.3 or greater (Production and staging environment for configuration and testing)

• Vocera Staff Assignment

• A Vocera Professional Services engagement for installation and configuration

In addition, Care Team Sync requires the following ADT components:

• An EHR HL7 ADT inbound feed (To retrieve patient census and patient care team information)

• An EHR HL7 ADT outbound feed (To send patient care team information to the EHR)

The adapter for the Hill-Rom Clinical Interface requires the following component:

• Hill-Rom NaviCare 3.5.400

This section provides information about fixes and improvements made to the Vocera Care Team Sync product.

This section provides information about known product defects and limitations in the current release.

• Assignments are removed from the CTS database and the Staff Assignment console if the connection between CTS and the Hill-Rom system is interrupted. This situation occurs when the connection between the two systems is completely lost; it has been observed in the field only when the shared key has been changed manually on the Connexall connector after the initial configuration.

  Workaround: Make sure both systems have the same shared key. Reconnect with the correct key, and the assignments will be restored. (DE12988)

• The CTS Console does not display site information. If you support multiple sites that have one or more units with identical names, you cannot disambiguate the units in the Patient Census and Sync Settings screens of the CTS Console. (US21243)

  Workaround: When you populate the unit table of the CTS with unit names, prefix each name in the unit column with site information so you can disambiguate the units in the screens of the CTS Console.

• You must define an ADT feed before specifying an IP address for the Vocera Voice Server - Failure to specify the feed causes the VCTS database to be purged of assignments, patient locations, and unit roles. (DE8039/US15903)
