This section provides information about known product defects and limitations in the current release.
VCTS installer does not create the VRS user in the MySQL database. Workaround: Use MySQL Workbench to create the VRS user manually by executing the following SQL statements (23888):
CREATE USER 'vrsuser'@'%' IDENTIFIED BY 'vocera'; GRANT SELECT ON vcts.unit TO 'vrsuser'@'%' IDENTIFIED BY 'vocera'; GRANT SELECT ON vcts.unitrole TO 'vrsuser'@'%' IDENTIFIED BY 'vocera'; GRANT SELECT ON vcts.ASSIGNMENTACCURACYRPTVIEW TO 'vrsuser'@'%' IDENTIFIED BY 'vocera';
Configuring the Voice Server IP address for the first time may cause the VCTS to fail - This failure occasionally occurs the first time you attempt to set the IP address of the Voice Server within the Admin Console of the VCTS. Workaround: Restart the VCTS and set the IP address again. (24398)
Installer incorrectly allows you to install the VCTS on a 4.4.x VCG or VSTG - You must install the VCTS server on a dedicated machine with no other Vocera software. Workaround: If you inadvertently install the VCTS on a VCG or VSTG, uninstall it. (24477, 24478)
The Assignment Accuracy report is not accessible as a VRS Scheduled Report - Scheduled reports run only against data in the local VRS database, and the Assignment Accuracy report requires an external data source (the VCTS MySQL database). Workaround: Run the Assignment Accuracy report manually.
In some situations, the Assignment Accuracy report incorrectly displays the "Specify a narrower range" error - If you set the Source, Unit, and Role parameters to a specific single value, the report will fail and display this error. Workaround: Set the Source, Unit, and Role parameters to All. (24570)
