Disable Calling and Messaging When Offline or Busy
Description: Edge can be configured to prevent users from calling or messaging offline or busy caregivers using Cellular-enabled or BYOD devices. When a user contacts the caregiver, Edge displays a "Communication Restricted" message stating that the caregiver cannot be messaged or called until they are online.
Configuration and Maintenance: To enable this feature:
To include Busy caregivers, go to Enterprise Manager > Settings > Security > Advanced Settings. Update the Include Busy for Disable Comms setting to true.
Capture and Relay Logs of Notifications When the Edge Mobile App is Sleeping
Description: Edge now captures and relays logs of notifications when the Edge Mobile app is sleeping to clearly show the receipt of APNS notifications and confirm if they are displayed to users immediately.

QGenda On-Call Instructions
Description: When contact information is provided for an on-call user, this information should be accessible from the Vocera Edge Clinical app. This enables a caregiver to get in touch without delay.

Call forwarding to user or role
Description: You can now forward calls to a user, a role, or a phone number. If the user or role has multiple contact options, you can select the one that you want to use.
Third-party API for Vocera Edge now accepts return URL as a parameter
Description: When placing a call from a third-party app, you can now specify the URL in the calling app to which to return after the call is completed.

EDGEM-2127 The Edge Client no longer shows a hidden number while dialing. If a user configures their phone number to be private, then the number is correctly hidden when another user dials the private number.
EDGEM-2744 The Edge Client no longer reports incorrect call state for external calls.
EDGEM-2870 The Edge Client now correctly supports the $patientAltId app link parameter outbound from Vocera Edge. When a user clicks an Epic link that contains the $patientAltId, the Vocera App launches the Epic app and correctly links to the identified patient.
EDGEM-2235 The Edge Client no longer fails to connect to WiFi when the WiFi connection interface equals en0. The app no longer blocks the connection SIP or ignores the current connection interface.
EDGEM-1730 Incoming calls no longer incorrectly overwrite the displayed username for the currently logged in user.
EDGEM-1755 The Edge Client no longer sends the VoIP logged in/logged out state to the Edge Server only when the BadgeEdgeCalling option is enabled. The Client now correctly sends the state to the Server without regard to the BadgeEdgeCalling option.

EDGEM-3112 No audio on Edge calls after receiving and ending a cellular call. This behavior has been seen after a user receives a cellular call while on an Edge call. The user places the Edge call on hold, answers the cellular call, then ends the hold to return to the Edge call. When the user returns to the Edge call, the user does not hear the call audio. This is a known iOS issue that has been reported to Apple.
