About Engage Voice Group Sync Adapter

The Engage Voice Group Sync Adapter is used to synchronize the users and groups in Engage Server and the Vocera Voice Server.

Until the Vocera Voice Server is fully integrated with the Engage Server and they use a common database, the Engage Voice Group Sync Adapter is used to keep the users and group memberships consistent between the servers. This adapter is one part of the solution that synchronizes assignments from external assignment management systems with the Vocera Voice Server groups.

What's New in Engage Voice Group Sync Adapter 1.0

The Engage Voice Group Sync Adapter 1.0 (1.0.x) solution provides the following new features:

Creates a flexible synchronization relationship between groups (and group members) on the Vocera Voice Server, and groups on Engage Server.
The Engage Voice Group Sync Adapter makes use of the Voice Server Interface (VSI) to detect any changes in groups and group membership on the Vocera Voice Server (VS) and synchronize these changes to Engage.

This release of the Engage Voice Group Sync Adapter has the following known issue:

Voice Group Sync is not processing group membership updates coming from the Voice Server when SSL is enabled. (ADP-5574)
Workaround: There is no workaround at this time.
