This section summarizes the new features in this release.
The
The adapter can now suppress the Apple Push Notification service (APNs) when an iOS device is off-network. In the adapter configuration, select the new Suppress Off-Network Notifications checkbox to suppress all APNs messages to off-network devices. This feature is recommended for sites without an XMPP proxy, because it simulates the behavior of notifications being suppressed when devices are not connected to the site's network.(XMPP-1279)
The
The adapter now sends coverage details of users in roster search results. (XMPP-6)
When a contact name or number changes, the adapter now updates the display name for the call history. (XMPP-33)
The adapter keeps the user logged in to a Vocera badge when the badge goes off network. (XMPP-342)
The adapter added a coverage indicator to bookmarks. If the last relevant message was sent during a coverage event where the user was the requester, the conversation is marked as covered. (XMPP-435)
The adapter configuration was updated to support the new "Call Log" tab in Vina. Call

The adapter has expanded group coverage when no members remain in the group. When a coverage event cannot transition to the next user in a group because the group has no users, the adapter waits 30 seconds for another user to join the group to transition the coverage. If no user is added to the group, the adapter sends a message to the user stating that the coverage needs to be resumed. (XMPP-762)
The adapter sends conversation invitations once only when adding new conversation participants. The invitation can be received either as an incoming call or message, but not both at the same time. (XMPP-1013)
Users can add call-only directory entries (business contacts) to their Favorites. (XMPP-1046)
The adapter no longer calculates the badge count when a user configures Vina to calculate the badge count. (XMPP-1059)
The adapter now supports multi-user chats (MUC) up to 160 participants. (XMPP-1062)
The adapter has been updated to allow the override of text message enunciation for C1000 devices. (XMPP-1068)
The adapter shows the phone number for missed call notifications when the device is locked. (XMPP-1092)
When the adapter processes a response, it links the associated delivery to the response. (XMPP-1142)
The adapter added a new Disable nested results in group directory search policy that revokes the display of nested users and groups. (XMPP-1236)

This is a maintenance release only. There are no fixed issues in this release.
The following issues are fixed in
The adapter was not allowing usernames and passwords with multi-byte characters. (XMPP-512)
Bookmarks were not archived for a caller when the call recipient was logged into a B3000N device. (XMPP-1000)
The adapter no longer fails to start if there are devices registered to inactive or removed users. (XMPP-1020)
The adapter now sends a Missed/Declined Call Log notification for missed or declined group calls to iOS Vina users. Previously, a notification was sent to iOS users when the Call Log conversation was created resulting in a New Message banner or a “chirp” if the user was in a call. (XMPP-1026)
The adapter no longer fails to load patient-linked conversations where the creator has been deleted. (XMPP-1036)
When a device was put to sleep and disconnected from Vina, the adapter would cancel a task to attempt to wake the device. This would prevent notifications from being sent to the device. This issue has been fixed. The adapter now cancels the wake attempt on device logout, not device sleep. (XMPP-1081)
Staff assignment rosters were showing user presence as unavailable (grayed out). (XMPP-1091)
If illegal characters were present in a UID, the adapter failed to start up when building the roster cache. This issue has been fixed. Now, the illegal characters are logged and the adapter starts up successfully. (XMPP-1127)
LastMissedNotification was being copied to heartbeat notification on iOS devices. (XMPP-1172)
The adapter now removes invalid device registrations in the database when a user logs into a device. (XMPP-1181)
The adapter now correctly logs in users on Android devices after a failover. Previously, the adapter might fail to reconnect users on Android devices after a failover, because the device ID was missing during the reconnect process. (XMPP-1240)
The adapter now correctly tracks iOS device registration after a restart. Previously, the adapter might fail to clear registration and keep the user logged in to multiple devices. The adapter would then log the user out of one device automatically. (XMPP-1248)
The adapter now correctly sends notifications to iOS uses who have already received an alert when re-alert is enabled on the rule. Previously, the re-alert functionality was not working for iOS users if the initial notification was received when the Vina app was in the background. (XMPP-1257)
This section provides information about known product defects and limitations in the current release.
