About Vocera Adapter

The adapter is used by customers to integrate with Vocera Communications Systems.

Vocera Adapter configuration allows Vocera Platform to directly communicate with a Vocera Voice solution, allowing it to request badge information (including users and groups), and to send alerts and notification messages to Vocera badges.

Multiple Vocera Adapter instances can be configured, but only one can be active at a time.

What's New in Vocera Adapter 4.0.0.15

The Vocera Adapter 4.0.0.15 solution provides the following new features:

This adapter has been recompiled to work with Vocera Platform 6.1.0
The Vocera Adapter allows the user to select a VAI library version which corresponds to the latest 5.3 version of the Voice Server. (ADP-7976)
The adapter's required datasets now match the Vocera Platform 6.1.0 dataset model. (ADP-7566)

The following issues are fixed in Vocera Adapter 4.0.0.15:

New installations of Vocera Adapter 4.0.0 now create the /opt/EXTENSION/conf/Vocera folder ownership and permissions correctly. (ADP-8377)
