The Vocera VMP Adapter 1.6.0 solution provides the following new features:

• ADP-10818 - The adapter can now deliver Vocera Messaging Platform (VMP) messages using Vocera Platform Engage Rules. The standard VMP settings are now available in the Vocera Escalation Service and Delivery Flows.

• ADP-10901 - The adapter can send alerts to a group directly from Engage Rules.

• ADP-10903 - Engage Rules escalates alerts from the Vocera VMP Adapter to the secondary destination if the primary destination returns an error. If the secondary destination returns an error, then Engage Rules escalates the alert to the tertiary destination. Engage Rules treats failed deliveries of these alerts as declines if the interface property escalate_on_error is true.

• ADP-10907 - The Vocera Escalation Service can retrieve VMP retract rule templates from VMP.

• ADP-10909 - The Vocera Escalation Service delivers to the failsafe if the alert could not be delivered to the groups at any destination.

• ADP-10892 - The adapter provides valid rule template JSON form upon request from the Vocera Escalation Service.

• ADP-11045 - The adapter now links responses to deliveries.

• ADP-11054 - You can configure the Group Destination in the adapter configuration. The Group Destination value is used when delivering an alert to a Group destination from Engage Rules.

  Note: Changing this configuration requires a manual reset of Engage Rules.

The Vocera VMP Adapter 1.5.0 solution provides the following new feature:

• ADP-10946 - The adapter rules can now be configured to send custom ringtones to Vocera B3000n badges. To add a custom ringtone to a VMP rule, add the filename (in WAV format) to the Alert Sound field in the rule configuration.

  Note: The ringtone file must be on the Vocera Voice Server. When an alert is triggered, the adapter sends the WAV filename to the Vocera Voice Server. If the file is not found, then the adapter plays the default ringtone.

The Vocera VMP Adapter 1.4.0 solution provides the following new feature:

• The VMP rules have been updated to a text area for stored and displayed values of responses. There is no more static configuration. We will also continue to support static configurations in older versions of the adapter.

The Vocera VMP Adapter 1.2.0.7 solution provides the following new features:

• This adapter has been recompiled to work with Vocera Platform 6.1.0.
