The Vocera TAP Adapter 1.16.0 solution provides the following new features:

• The TAP adapter is available in the list of endpoints in Engage Rules, and the Escalation Service is capable of delivering an alert (TAP) to the adapter. (ADP-11344)
• The TAP adapter is updated to allow Engage Rules to retrieve the rule attributes and escalation service to retrieve the rule form. (ADP-11345)
• An endpoint simulator has been created in the TAP adapter in the automation framework (Gherkin). The endpoint will be used to receive alert and will assist in automating tests for the TAP adapter. (ADP-11346)
• The TAP adapter is updated to allow the configuration of a Device Vendor that will be used to route the rule to the correct device. (ADP-12966)
• The TAP adaptor is updated to allow the configuration of a custom recipient path that is used to route the rule to the correct device. (ADP-12967)
• The TAP adapter is updated to link deliveries from Engage Rules delivering to a custom device vendor when delivering to a device via line number. (ADP-12968)
• The TAP adapter is updated to allow an administrator to upload and download a CSV file to configure pagers. (ADP-12985)

The Vocera TAP Adapter 1.15.0 solution provides the following new features:

• The adapter has a new system type which can parse messages received from a serial printer port output. (ADP-12322)

The Vocera TAP Adapter 1.14.0 solution provides the following new features:

• We have added a Message Definition Type dropdown box to the adapter. Clients can select Standard or Managed State. This will allow TAP to support managing the alert logical key and cancellations more effectively. (ADP-11278)

The Vocera TAP Adapter 1.13.0 solution provides the following new features:

• The adapter now sends truncated messages if the message length exceeds the default or custom configured character limit. In previous releases, the adapter failed to send messages that exceeded the limit. (ADP-10595)

  The following settings can be configured:

  • Message Truncation: Configure how the messages should be truncated. You can select a default truncation (250 characters) or set a custom character limit.
  • Maximum Character Limit: Configure the maximum number of characters permitted in the message body before truncation.

The following issues are fixed in Vocera TAP Adapter 1.16.0:

• TAP Adapter now detects the connection closure and re-establishes the connection before sending the second TAP message to the server. (ADP-12983)
