Vocera Outgoing WCTP Adapter

Release Notes - Version 2.0.0.2

Updated: March 13, 2023

About Vocera Outgoing WCTP Adapter

The Vocera Outgoing WCTP Adapter configuration allows Vocera Platform direct communication with an Outgoing WCTP (Wireless Communication Transfer Protocol) Carrier Gateway Server, enabling our system to send alerts and notification messages to Outgoing WCTP endpoints.

Multiple adapters may be enabled in the system, however, a gateway configuration can only be used by one enabled Vocera Outgoing WCTP Adapter at a time.

The adapter supports WCTP messaging and alerting, and sending messages with additional IHE extensions. When working with alerts that come from a source which uses IHE formatted data (HL7), the data can be stored on additional attributes on the dataset and be passed directly through the rule using templated input.
