Vocera uses the Outgoing Email adapter to prioritize and send HTML and plain text emails to an email account that the user can access on their chosen device.
The adapter sends an email to the email server specified in the settings section of the adapter configuration. The email server sends the message information to the email account specified in the configuration. Users can access the email account from any Internet-enabled device.
