This is a maintenance release only. There are no new features in this release.

The Vocera LDAP Adapter 3.3.0 solution provides the following new features:

• The adapter performance has been improved to run more efficiently. (ADP-9700)
  • The adapter does not create a new user record on the Vocera Platform if the user record is disabled in Active Directory. (ADP-9742)
  • The adapter start up process is now optimized to update a user record only if it has changed since the last synchronization. When the system starts, the adapter compares each existing user record with the information from LDAP. If any information has changed, then the adapter updates the user record. If no information has changed, then the user record is not updated. (ADP-9834)
  • The adapter is now optimized to efficiently handle authentication user updates when the system starts. The adapter uses a shorter timeout period waiting on the synchronization of existing users so that when the system is under load in some queue processing that it doesn’t prevent access.(ADP-9893)
• The adapter has been updated to improve upgrades. (ADP-10539)
  • When there are one or more user or group updates from Active Directory during a DirSync operation, the adapter now audits the DirSync operation after it completes successfully. The audit contains the number of users and groups updated from Active Directory during the sync, along with the duration of the sync. (ADP-9932)
  • Query Filter and Synchronization events are now recorded as INFO events instead of DEBUG events in the log file. (ADP-10537)
  • For users who belong to groups under multiple configurations, the adapter now synchronizes user info and group mappings for multiple configurations (ADP-10548)
• If a group is no longer mapped by an LDAP interface, the adapter now treats the group as a non-LDAP group. (ADP-10445)

The following issue is fixed in Vocera LDAP Adapter 3.3.1:

• The adapter was checking for case sensitivity of user logins during the initial sync with Active Directory. This issue removed users from mapped groups if the user login case was mismatched between the Vocera login name and the Active Directory name. (ADP-10827)

  For example, if the Vocera login started with an uppercase letter and the Active Directory login name started with a lowercase letter, the adapter could not find the user in Active Directory and removed the user from their mapped groups.

The following issues are fixed in Vocera LDAP Adapter 3.3.0:

• The adapter was synchronizing users who were not mapped to a user group. This issue has been fixed. (ADP-10452)

• The adapter was displaying an error message when deleting a user's subscription messages. This issue has been fixed. The subscription messages are now removed correctly when a user record is deleted. (ADP-10553)
