The Vocera HL7 Adapter 1.10.0 solution provides the following new features:

• The PatientAssignments dataset has a new Date/Time attribute called timestamp. This attribute adds the date and time when the patient assignment is received.

The Vocera HL7 Adapter 1.9.0 solution provides the following new features:

• The HL7 adapter now supports IHE-compliant infusion pumps for alarms and messaging. (ADP-10270)

• Externally Managed State is a new message definition type now available in the adapter’s Message Definition configuration settings. (ADP-9552, ADP-9581, ADP-9582, ADP-9575)

  The Externally Managed State definition type can be used when alert state transitions are provided by the source system aperiodically. A repeat interval allows record inactivation, and a lower priority message can be suppressed.

• Associated Message is a new message definition type now available in the adapter’s Message Definition configuration settings. (ADP-9553, ADP-9557)

  The Associated Message definition type can be used when messages contain information that should be included with an update for a separate message definition, which is identified by an associated message key path.

• Acknowledgement messages (ACKS) are now logged in the HL7 message logs under trace level. (ADP-8641)

• Vocera can now associate HL7 messages on different inbound connections. (ADP-9655)

The Vocera HL7 Adapter 1.8.0 solution provides the following new features:

• Vocera is pleased to announce that with this release of the HL7 adapter, we can support multiple beds within the same message. Prior to this enhancement a message could only contain informationa about a singular bed. With this enhancement, a single message can contain information for up to 128 beds.

The Vocera HL7 Adapter 1.7.0 solution provides the following new features:

• Vocera is proud to announce the addition of time zone granularity. We now provide the region and country and then the specific time zone within that region.
• Vocera has also enhanced the HL7 adapter in these ways:
  • Users now have the ability to receive a NAK message when HL7 messages fail to process.
  • We have added additional audit events related to incoming connections.
  • An Outbound Connection is now required when an HL7 rule configuration is defined.
  • The adapter can now support separate versions of HL7.
  • The ACK now contains fields MSH.15 and MSH.16.

The following issues are fixed in Vocera HL7 Adapter 1.10.0:

• The adapter did not process message mappings when the last field was empty in an HL7 segment. This issue has been resolved. (ADP-10361)
