The Vocera CUCM Adapter is often used by customers to integrate with Cisco Unified Communications Systems.

Vocera CUCM Adapter configuration allows the Vocera Platform direct communication with Cisco Unified Communications Manager, enabling our system to request Cisco device information (including line appearances and events), and to send alerts and notification messages to Cisco endpoints.

• The Vocera CUCM Adapter will fail to deliver messages after failover if they were processed before the internal device cache had been rebuilt. (ADP-5844)

• CUCM can receive both an out of service and in service event immediately after starting to observe a terminal. (ADP-5827)

  During a failover we do not unregister all devices, then later do a check on device registration. There is a small window (20ms) where the phone is deregistered due to responses from Cisco where rules fail to match and therefore do not fire.
