Vocera Spok Adapter

Release Notes - Version 1.0.0

Updated: August 6, 2024

About the Vocera Spok Adapter

The Vocera Spok adapter allows the Vocera Platform to store Spok on-call physician schedule information, which can then be made available to end users with supported devices.

This adapter translates each schedule entry in the Spok schedule into a (potentially future) assignment in the Vocera Platform. The Vocera Assignment Manager is then used to mark those assignments as active (current) and expired. The Vocera Group Sync Adapter is then used to synchronize the active assignments with an Engage group based on the assignment role and location. If needed for VCS or badge integration, the Vocera Group Sync Adapter is then used to synchronize those groups with Vocera Voice Server groups.
