Vocera SAML Adapter

Release Notes - Version 1.2.0.3

Updated: July 8, 2024

About the Vocera SAML Adapter

Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) is a standard for logging users into applications using known identities from a customer's Active Directory system. The Vocera SAML Adapter acts as the SAML Service Provider for the Vocera Platform.

The Vocera SAML Adapter provides an alternative mechanism for authenticating users against a SAML Identity Provider (IDP) Service. Using the SAML authentication protocol, a user is able sign on once for all SAML Service Providers.

Additionally, users can bypass SAML authentication, and use LDAP or local user accounts to authenticate.
