About Engage Assignment Group Sync Adapter

The Engage Assignment Group Sync Adapter transforms assignments received from an external assignment system to Engage groups which can be utilized by the Vocera Voice Server. In the absence of an external assignment system, the transformation from groups received from the Vocera Voice Server to assignments on the Engage Server allows for proper routing of alerts and messages to the appropriate caregivers.

The Engage Assignment Group Sync Adapter 1.0 (1.0.x) solution provides the following new features:

Translates assignments to groups and groups to assignments.
Manages the automated mirroring of groups and assignments.
Manages multi-factor assignment logic by dynamically activating/deactivating assignments or modifying group membership to reflect changes in functional role or location.
