Vocera Vina is a smartphone app that optimizes patient safety by helping clinicians to make decisions in real-time.

With Vocera Vina, you can:

You must be using a supported device and operating system to be able to run Vocera Vina.

The following device and operating system combinations are supported:

• Zebra TC51 with Android operating system version 8.1 and later
• Zebra TC52 with Android operating system version 8.1 and later
• Zebra TC21 with Android operating system 10
• Zebra TC52X with Android operating system 10
• Zebra HC20/HC50 with Android operating system 13
• Spectralink V92 with Android operating system 10
• Spectralink V95 with Android operating system 8.1 and later
• Samsung devices with Android operating system 11 and later
• Google Pixel devices with Android operating system 11 and later

Vocera Vina should be designed and coded to function on the majority of BYOD devices that use Android 11 and later. However, these devices cannot be tested, and thus voice performance cannot be guaranteed, features function cannot be guaranteed, and use for regulated alarms on devices not on the supported list is not supported.

• UC-21443 The Vina app now launches properly on devices using the Android 14 operating system on which the Imprivata MDA solution has been implemented.

• UC-21448 In the previous version of Vina, normal priority alarm notifications occasionally failed to appear if an urgent priority alarm had previously appeared and had been accepted by another user. This problem has now been resolved.

• UC-21463 When you log into Vina using Imprivata, you now remain logged in after performing a device restart and reconnecting using the Imprivata badge.

• UC-21464 When a new message is added to an existing conversation, the conversation timestamp is now updated properly.

• UC-21476 In the previous version of Vina, the message "Vocera Vina has stopped responding" would sometimes intermittently appear. This issue has now been resolved.

• UC-21494 When an unhandled high priority alarm disappears from the screen and you then receive a low or medium priority alarm, the response dialog box for this alarm is now displayed.

• UC-21495 Dismissed low and medium priority alarms now no longer appear in the inbox.

This release includes the following known issues and limitations for versions of Vocera Vina running on Android operating systems.

• UC-9008 If you have set your device's Do Not Disturb setting, a notification from Vina may disappear shortly after it appears.

• UC-10154 Due to device limitations, the buttons on Zebra devices cannot be configured to send panic broadcasts at the present time.

• UC-20988 On some Samsung devices, if the device is locked and a device password has been set, an incoming call does not cause the notification to be displayed. Only the ringtone for the call is heard.
