Known Issues

This release includes the following known issues and limitations for versions of the Vocera Collaboration Suite running on Apple iOS operating systems.

  1. The list of Alerts appears when attempting to access an Alert from a reminder popup. If you have received an Alert while your application is in the background, and you tap the reminder popup, the Alert screen is displayed instead of the specific Alert that you are trying to access. (DE6477)

  2. Time-sensitive icon is not displayed if an Alert does not have response options. If you specify an expiration time limit for an Alert but do not specify any responses, the Alert screen should display the time-sensitive icon next to the Alert link but does not. (DE7219)

  3. Call Back button disappears on iPad after responding to VMI message. If a message with response options is sent through the Vocera Messaging Interface to your iPad and you select a response, the Call Back button disappears when you redisplay the message. (DE7480)

  4. Application freezes if you tap and hold VCS 3.0 update link. If you have upgraded to VMP Server version 5.1 and you attempt to start VCS version 2.0.4, you will receive a message indicating that this version of VCS is not compatible with this version of VMP, and you will be provided with a link to upgrade to VCS version 3.0. If you tap on this link, the upgrade happens as expected. But if you tap and hold this link, the application freezes. (DE7510)

  5. Vocera Collaboration Suite does not automatically start on device restart if device password required. On all versions of the iOS operating system, if you have supplied a password for your device and you restart the device, you must enter the password before the Vocera Collaboration Suite will automatically start. This is a restriction in the iOS operating system: no interfaces, including Wi-Fi, are connected until the password is supplied.
