Known Issues

This release includes the following known issues and limitations for versions of the Vocera Collaboration Suite running on Android operating systems.

  1. Notification sounds cannot be muted on Samsung S7 devices. This is due to custom changes that Samsung has made to the operating system. (DE11816)

  2. Some emojis can be sent in message conversations. The use of emojis is not supported in Vocera Collaboration Suite, but some newer emojis can still be included in message text. (DE11919)

  3. VMP conversation inactivity archive option cannot be set to more than 24 days when using the VCS Android client. If you are using the VCS client for Android, you cannot set the VMP Administrator's "Number of days of inactivity to archive a conversation" configuration option to a value larger than 24. A value larger than 24 causes all messages on the Android client to expire immediately. (DE12088)
