This release includes the following fixes.
VCS-21250 Searches containing spaces now return the correct results.
VCS-21289 If VCS is not able to retrieve the list of Vocera Client Gateway addresses, it now uses its previously cached list of returned addresses. This eliminates the possibility of connecting to an incorrect VCG address.
VCS-21291 After an upgrade, any existing inactivity timeout is now cleared.
VCS-21314 If Wi-Fi is turned off and the device is connected to a different network, the app now properly connects to the Vocera Client Gateway at the new location.
VCS-21330 The red Not Connected status banner now does not appear unless multiple VMP connectivity checks fail.
VCS-21262 When a VMP connectivity check fails, connections to the Vocera Client Gateway are no longer dropped.
VCS-21263 Shared Zebra devices will no longer logout after an inactivity timeout until the device has reconnected to the server. This change also corrects an issue where users on shared Zebra devices were logged out after a VCS upgrade.
VCS-21172 When a VCS user is not using Vocera Client Gateway to make calls, the user no longer consumes a Vocera Server license.
This release includes the following known issues and limitations for
versions of the
VCS-19830 On some Samsung devices, if you set Do Not Disturb on your device and receive an urgent VCS message, your device is set to Silent mode after the notification tone ends. This is a device limitation.
VCS-20673 When connected to a slow network, the Spectralink V9253 may experience a failed login on occasion. Moving to an area where the connection is stronger may enable you to log in successfully.
