Vocera Collaboration Suite is a healthcare mobile application that provides real-time situational awareness and actionable patient data to inform clinical decisions so that care team members can easily communicate and collaborate, improving the experience of the patient and the caregiver.

• Search across all sites

  When you are viewing the Favorites tab in the Contacts screen, and you perform a search, the search results now include a count of all matches across all sites. This includes sites that you have not selected.

• * Secure messaging can now be disabled

  The Vocera Messaging Platform can now specify a list of users for which secure messaging is disabled. This is useful if your facility is already using a different secure message solution.

• Group name now listed in call log when called by external number

  If an external phone number has called a group, the name of the group is now displayed in the call log.

• ** Calls to extensions or phone numbers in the call log now sent to Vocera badge or Vocera Smartbadge when in Dual Mode

  If you are using a Vocera badge or Vocera Smartbadge and the VCS app in Dual Mode and you place a call to an extension or phone number in the VCS call log, the call is now sent to the badge or Vocera Smartbadge.

• Panic Call changed to Panic Broadcast

  To summon emergency help, tap Special Actions in the Call Screen and then tap Panic Broadcast.

• * Conversation system messages now delivered silently

  If you are in a conversation and someone joins or leaves it, a notification and its tone are no longer sent. Notifications are now reserved for messages from users.

• ** Voicemail messages and voice reminders now not automatically played

  If you have received a voicemail message or a voice reminder from another person, this message is now not played automatically.

• VCS-19751 If you are using your device while roaming, the VCS app now successfully retrieves the correct location of the appropriate Vocera Client Gateway server.

• VCS-20137 In some situations, calls initiated to Vocera Voice Server groups would be automatically ended. This has been corrected.

• VCS-20281 If Do Not Disturb for Calls is set and an urgent call or broadcast is received but you do not interact with it, your Do Not Disturb for Calls setting now remains unchanged.

• VCS-20351 In some rare and unusual circumstances, the VCS app was not correctly displaying the patient section for incoming notifications with a patient that a user is not permitted to view. This issue is now resolved.

This release includes the following known issues and limitations for versions of the Vocera Collaboration Suite running on Android operating systems.

• VCS-19830 On some Samsung devices, if you set Do Not Disturb on your device and receive an urgent VCS message, your device is set to Silent mode after the notification tone ends. This is a device limitation.
