Critical Alert Support
If you are using iOS version 12 or later, you can now specify that when you receive a message of Urgent priority, it is sent to you as an Apple iOS Critical Alert. These alerts play a sound and appear on your device's lock screen even if your device is muted or you have set the device's Do Not Disturb setting.

Notifications are now grouped.
Notifications are now grouped instead of having separate notifications for messages, voicemails, and missed calls. Critical notifications appear at the top.

There is a new Critical Alert icon for notifications for urgent priority alerts or messages.
This icon is provided by the Apple iOS operating system. The
Voice login when logged out of dual mode.

When
Message notification tone changed when in call.
If you are in a Vocera call or a cellular call, and you receive a message notification, you now hear the message
notification tone at a low volume. In previous versions of

If you have set your device's Do Not Disturb setting or have put your device in silent mode,
Ringtone length for urgent priority message is a maximum of 30 seconds (iOS 13.3+).
In iOS version 13.3 and later, the length of the ringtone is controlled by the iOS operating system.
You must be using a supported device and operating system to be able to run
iOS 12 or later.
Vocera recommends that you do not upgrade to a new OS version until it has been validated to work correctly with
Enterprise Devices are those on which Vocera does extensive device performance testing for voice quality and wireless connectivity. They are recommended for use in an enterprise environment.
Any device that supports iOS 12 or later meets the specifications for our product. Quality of experience may vary based on manufacturer and device model. Vocera support for these devices is on a reasonable effort basis.
This release includes the following fixes.
VCS-19149 On devices running iOS 13.3 or later, the screens of instant conference participants are now properly updated from "Sending" to the group name or vice versa when a user taps "Push to Talk".
VCS-19204 If your

VCS-16761 If you are creating a message template, and the template contains a field in which you can provide text, it may be difficult to tap in the text field to indicate that you want to type text in it.
VCS-18273 If you receive a notification of an urgent or high priority message while in a Vocera call or cellular call, the notification does not continue after the call is terminated. This is a known issue with the Apple iOS operating system.
VCS-19053 The incoming notification for a new message is not displayed when you are in the face ID pop up screen. If you lock the screen or the timeout interval is reached, the message is displayed. This is an iOS limitation.
VCS-19067 When you place a call to a contact from the Contact Details screen, there may be a short delay before the call is started. If you tap the Genie button during this transition period, your call may be terminated.
VCS-19115 Broadcasts initiated from the
VCS-19253 If you are running iOS 14 or later and your device is configured to automatically answer urgent calls, and you receive an urgent call while you are in a cellular call, a notification of the urgent call appears but the notification tone and vibration for the urgent call are not played.
VCS-19281 If you log in after a forced log out, your profile picture may not be immediately restored and your favorites may not be visible. If you log out and log in again, your favorites are restored.
VCS-19331 In some situations, when your phone roams between cellular and WiFi networks, it may not play a notification tone for the first message you receive after roaming. The notification is correctly delivered, however, and the phone will correctly play a tone for subsequent messages according to the priority settings you have configured.
VCS-19333 When you open a message from the system notification while the VCS app is in the background, in some situations your device incorrectly increments the badge number on the Home screen. This situation occurs in iOS 14.0 and 14.1, and it appears to be an Apple issue.
VCS-19458 On some iPhone 12 devices,
VCS-19829 On some devices running iOS 14, if you receive a call while the VCS app is in the background and then mute the call, you cannot answer the call when the app is launched again unless you tap the call banner at the top of the screen.
