When you have VCS configured for personal use on an Android device, and you log out of VCS, the VCS service is stopped, and the VCS app icon no longer appears in the notification banner.

Text can be copied and pasted in message conversations and alerts.
You can now copy existing text from a conversation or alert and paste it into another conversation.
This text cannot be pasted into apps other than
* You can now define fields to be included in message templates.
When you create a message using a message template, the system administrator can define one or more fields that are to be included in messages that are generated from this template. Any of these fields can be set to be required fields. When fields are supplied, the field labels and text are included in the message body.
* Do Not Disturb now provides a timer capability.
You can now indicate that you are not to be disturbed by either messages or calls for a specified period of time.
* Patient name now included on Secure Messages screen if available and no subject defined.
If a message has no message subject, and patient information has been provided for the message, the patient name is now displayed on the Secure Messages screen where the subject is normally displayed. The patient name does not become the message subject.
Remind Me Later option now available for messages of Normal priority.
You can now use a profile option to enable the Remind Me Later capability for messages of Normal priority.
* Adding pictures to messages may now be disabled.
An administrator can now use options in the

When viewing a patient care team, if no role has been specified for a care team member, the team member's job title is displayed.

Commonly-used messages, such as "I am with a patient", can now be stored in your device as quick messages. This enables you to respond immediately to common situations. You can create your own quick messages or use quick messages that your administrator has defined for you.

Search functionality improved.
The search capability in VCS has been improved to produce better matches when searching using multiple words.
This release includes the following fixes:
VCS-14336 - Days now properly displayed in weekly on-call schedule.
When displaying an on-call schedule in Week format, there were some cases in which not all days of the week were displayed. This problem has been fixed.
VCS-15857 - Keyboard now displayed properly when message text field tapped.
On some Android devices, the keyboard did not always appear when tapping the text field in a message. This problem has now been resolved.
VCS-16286 - Pictures properly deleted from device gallery.
When using some Android devices, pictures captured and added to message conversations were visible in your device's photo gallery. They are now deleted properly.
VCS-16306 - PDF files now open properly (Zebra MC40).
In previous releases, PDF files were discovered to not open properly when running the Zebra MC40 using Android version 5.1.1. This problem has now been resolved.
VCS-16529 - Zebra TC51 device now no longer unlocks on High or Urgent priority alerts.
If you are using VCS on a Zebra TC51 device, your device now no longer automatically unlocks when you receive an alert of High or Urgent priority.
VCS-16740 - Proximity sensor now working properly (Samsung 10).
