Send Text

Send a text message to the display on another badge user or to all members of a group using the Send Text feature.

Your administrator can control whether text messages will be received by group members working at a different site.

For example, if a user in a Trauma Team group at site A is working at site B at the time a text message is sent to that group, the user working at site B would not receive the message. the exception is that users in the Global group will always receive group messages.

  1. Click Send Text link in the left navigation bar.
    The Send Text page appears.
  2. To choose the recipient(s), click the Select Recipientbutton.
    The Select User or Group dialog box appears.
  3. Choose the users and groups to whom you want to send the message.
    To select multiple names, hold down the Ctrl key while you click your selections. To select a range of names, click the first name in the range and then hold down the Shift key and click the last name in the range.
  4. Enter up to 11 characters of text in the Subject field.
  5. Enter up to 115 characters of text in the Message field.
  6. Click Send. (To cancel the message, click Reset.)
