You can login to the Vocera Admin Console and enable Voice PIN authentication for
badge users.
To set up Voice PIN authentication, follow these steps:

Click System in the navigation bar to display the
System screen.

Click the Preferences tab to display the Preferences
page.

In the Login Options section, select Enable
PIN Authentication.
If this option is disabled, no authentication is performed irrespective of
any other settings or user permissions. All PIN authentication related commands
are also disabled.

Click Save Changes.

Click Groups in the navigation bar to display the
Groups page.

Select the group that requires authentication, then click Edit
Group to display the Edit Group dialog box.

Click the Permissions tab to display the Group
Permissions page.

Grant the following permissions:

Require Authentication to Log In enforces PIN
authentication each time the user issues the "Log In" command.

Require Authentication to Play Messages
enforces PIN authenticates each time the user issues the "Play
Messages" command.

Record Your PIN allows a user to record a
voice PIN.

Erase Your PIN allows a user to erase a voice
PIN.

Erase PIN of Another User allows a user to
erase the voice PIN for another user. You typically assign this
permission to an administrator.

Click Save Changes.
