Synchronize Assignment Roles to Groups in Vocera Engage

Accurately map and synchronize assignment groups with functional roles using a combination of export and import features with Comma-Separated Value (CSV) files.

Accurate mapping of assignment groups to functional roles in Vocera Engage allows for proper routing of alerts and messages to the appropriate care team members. Common roles include Charge nurse, Registered Nurse, or Patient Care Technician.

Using the Export and Import features found under Manage > Bulk Actions, you map and synchronize assignment groups with functional roles. You use the export function to download existing information on Functional Roles, Locations, and other related information in the AssignmentRolesGroups.CSV file.

After analyzing the information in the AssignmentRolesGroups.CSV file, you update the file with any new assignment group information and then import the updated CSV file. The system creates new assignment groups if they didn't exist in the system, and links it to the associated Functional Role and Location during the import process.
