Vina enables you to
use messaging and chat-style conversations to communicate with
other people in your network.
When you start Vina,
the Home screen displays a list of the conversations and group chats that you have participated in. Conversations
are organized into two sections:
- New: conversations that have at least one unread message or unanswered call
- Read: conversations that have no unread messages or unanswered calls
Tap a section header to expand or collapse the section. When a section is collapsed, the number of conversations
in this section is displayed.
In the New section,
the count is enclosed in a colored dot that indicates the highest unread alert or conversation priority:
- Red: An urgent priority alarm is unread
- Orange: A high priority alarm is unread
- Yellow: A normal priority alarm is unread
- Blue: No alarms are unread, only conversations
In the Read section, the colored dot is always gray.
From the Home screen, you can:
- Start a conversation with another person.
- Start a group chat with multiple people.
Note: The Home screen displays a maximum of 20 alarms and a maximum of 20 conversations.
Additional conversations are moved to the conversation archive.
See
Archived Conversations for more details.
Note: You can miss a message if it is sent in a conversation or group chat
that has scrolled off your screen.
