If your administrator has added you to an instant conference group, and a member of the group has initiated an instant conference, your device automatically joins the instant conference.
The instant conference screen displays, indicating that the call has started.
Note: You do not receive the instant conference call if your status is set to Busy or Do Not Disturb, or if you are already on another audio or video call.
- When you join the call, your device uses the speaker by default, but can switch to another audio source. If a wired headset is connected to the device, then the call uses the headset by default.
- To request to speak in the call, tap Push To Talk. The screen indicates whether it is OK to talk or whether the line is busy.
- If it is OK to talk, begin speaking. Everyone in the instant conference hears you immediately.
- When you are finished speaking, tap Push To Talk again. Everyone in the instant conference hears a chirp, letting them know they can reply.
- To leave the call, tap the end call button. If the instant conference initiator and other participants are still on the call, it continues without you.
