RXE – Pharmacy Encoded Order Segment

The RXE segment contains specific order encoding information from the pharmacy. This includes dosing information as well as any specific administration instructions. This segment and its children (RXR and RXC segments) must be sent in RDE messages but not ORM messages. RXR and RXC segment layouts are common between RDE and ORM messages.
