The Vocera Carescape Adapter integrates alarm details from GE Carescape patient monitors with additional information provided by the facility to deliver a more complete context to caregiver devices responding to patient alerts. For example, the Vocera Carescape Adapter implements the GE Carescape broadcast message protocol to allow the Vocera Platform to receive monitor alarm information directly. Vocera Platform then can integrate available data to deliver meaningful information to caregivers via wireless devices and web browsers. Please review the Port Installation Guide prior to installing the adapter.
