After the initial setup and paring tasks are complete, you need to know how to connect,
disconnect, and manage your headset. You can switch to your Bluetooth device during a call, and
unpair a device that you no longer want to use.
The details of the tasks are as follows:
- Connecting with a paired Bluetooth device—This task is performed each time you
want to shift from Badge mode to your Bluetooth device.
- Switching devices during a call—This task is performed when you want to move back
and forth between your paired Bluetooth headset and Vocera badge.
- Disconnecting from a paired Bluetooth device—This task is performed when you want
to disconnect your Bluetooth device and switch back to badge mode.
- Unpairing a Bluetooth device—After you unpair a device, the pairing information
is no longer stored on the Vocera Server in your Bluetooth headset profile. You are ready
to pair a new device if desired.
