Understanding a Vocera Adapter Configuration

You can use the Vocera Adapter to integrate with Vocera Communications Systems.

Adapters send information to and receive information from Vocera, as well as monitor and collect data. Each adapter is configured to allow the Vocera appliance to communicate with a specific type of resource and any devices that resource may control.

Vocera Adapter configuration enables direct communicate with Vocera servers, allowing it to request badge information (including users and groups), and to send alerts and notification messages to Vocera badges.

Only one Vocera Adapter can be active in the system. Multiple Vocera Adapter can be configured, but only one can be active at a time.
