Configure the Stryker bed alarming system to allow communication between the Vocera Stryker Adapter and the Vocera Platform.
Adapters send information to and receive information from Vocera, as well as monitor and collect data. Each adapter is configured to allow the Vocera appliance to communicate with a specific type of resource and any devices that resource may control.
For example, the Vocera Stryker Adapter provides the ability to receive alarms generated by Stryker smart beds, such as the SecureII line of beds. The beds report to a Stryker iBed Gateway server which in turn makes the alarms and other data the beds generated available for access via update subscriptions. The adapter subscribes to these notifications and generates Vocera alerts based on the configuration and reported alarms.
