Updating a VMP Cluster

If you are using the VMP Server in a clustered environment and you want to install an update, you must update the VMP Server on each node of the cluster.

1. On the first node of the cluster, follow the instructions in Updating the VMP Server to update the VMP Server.
2. Stop the Vocera Data Exchange Service on the first node. See Starting and Stopping the VMP Server for details on how to do this.
3. On the second node of the cluster, follow the instructions in Updating the VMP Server to update the VMP Server.
4. Stop the Vocera Data Exchange Service on the second node.
5. Restart the Vocera Data Exchange Service on the first node of the cluster.
