About Vocera Ease application
The Vocera Ease application provides hospitals the means to communicate in a convenient and secure way. Digital boards and templatized care-transition messages do not do enough to calm anxiety. The Ease application provides an important bridge between the care team and family by sending one-way HIPAA compliant messages, photos, and videos. It integrates into workflows, reduces calls, and makes it easy for loved ones to provide feedback.
The Vocera EASE 8.14.0 solution provides the new features and optimizations described in this section.
Patient name in multi-language premade messages
You can now specify that the patient name is to be inserted in premade messages in English and in other languages.
Privacy policy and terms of use now available
The Ease dashboard now enables clinical staff to access the Ease privacy policy and terms of use.
Preregistration now enabled
Ease now supports system preregistration up to 30 days before an appointment date.
New WebReceiver capabilities
WebReceiver now includes an Activate/Deactivate option and the ability to upload a facility logo.
Support teams lookup details updated
FacilityName has been added.
Survey questions can be created
Users with administrative privileges can now create survey questions for sessions managed in the Ease Dashboard.
