Vocera Designer

Introduction

The Vocera Designer is a tool that is used to create, modify and visualize the configuration for a new deployment or for refinement of established installations. The tool utilizes the same data as the Vocera Platform, but operates independently so that large scale changes can be made and reviewed before being rolled out. The tool works with Vocera Platform 6.x versions, Vocera Voice 5.x versions, and Vocera Engage 7.x releases by consuming and generating Comma Separated Value (CSV) files defining the sites or facilities, groups, and group members, which are used everyday to drive call flows, facilitate staff assignment, and control user permissions.
