Call status displayed when unavailable
You can now tap the Call icon or the Genie icon to display why calling is unavailable.
Third-party Dialer Options Available*
The
Expanded Phone Extension Capabilities
You can supply a phone number or extension for your device. This number can be between 2 and 15 digits long.
New and Read Conversations
On your Home screen, conversations are organized into New and Read sections. This enables you to view unread conversations more easily. These conversation sections can be expanded or hidden. When hidden, the number of conversations in the section is displayed.
New Messages Indicated in Conversations
If you return to a conversation that you have left, new messages that have appeared while you were away are placed below a New banner in the chat log. This enables you to quickly catch up on your conversation.
Copy and Paste Supported
You can now copy message text from a conversation to your device clipboard. You can then paste it into another app on your device. When sending a message, you can paste text from the clipboard into the message field.
Coverage Request Ending Notification
When a coverage request period is about to expire, both the person doing the covering and the person being covered are now sent a notification.
Message Details in Conversations
For each message in a conversation, you can now view details of who sent and received the message.
Callback From Voicemail Message
If a voicemail message is the last message that has been sent to you in a conversation, you can now tap the conversation link in the Home screen to call the person that left you the voicemail.
Favorites List Now Expandable
In the New Chat or New Call screen, the list of favorites can now be expanded or hidden.
Messaging-Only Option
You can now configure
Recent Archive Time Period Now Explicit
The amount of time that archived conversations are considered recent is now explicitly specified. This time period is normally 48 hours but can be configured.

Call icon color changes
The color of the call icon that is displayed in a conversation or when you tap on a profile picture or initials is now one of the following:
In previous releases, the call icon was blue for multi-person conversations and gray when the intended recipient was offline.

UC-17060 Incoming calls no longer get stuck in speaker mode.
UC-17160 Incoming broadcasts now automatically switch to speaker mode.
UC-17337 There is no longer a 10-second delay in the call tone after receiving a cellular call.
UC-17342 Users are no longer taken to the password entry screen when tapping on a message notification for an expired conversation.
