The
* Can join or leave Voice Group from within Contacts
From the Contacts module, users can now add or remove themselves from a Voice Group if they have the necessary permission.
You must be using a supported device and operating system to be able to
run
iOS 15 or later.
Vocera recommends that you do not upgrade to a new OS version until it
has been validated to work correctly with
Enterprise Devices are those on which Vocera does extensive device performance testing for voice quality and wireless connectivity. They are recommended for use in an enterprise environment.
Any device that supports iOS 15 or later meets the specifications for our product. Quality of experience may vary based on manufacturer and device model. Vocera support for these devices is on a reasonable effort basis.
This release includes the following fixes.
VCS-21247 The Back button in the Profile Options screen now works properly.
VCS-21249 Searches containing spaces now return the correct results.
VCS-21255 The app now no longer intermittently crashes when it is placed in the foreground and the profile image is updated.
VCS-21257 VCS will now force a new APNS token when the current token is marked as "Unregistered".
VCS-21243 Patients with apostrophes or backtick characters in their names can now be added to conversations.
VCS-20506 When a user closes the VCS app by swiping it away, any existing call is now terminated.
VCS-21162 An additional check before loading patient conversations has been added to ensure the correct patient information is displayed.
VCS-21172 When a VCS user is not using Vocera Client Gateway to make calls, the user no longer consumes a Vocera Server license.
This release includes the following known issues and limitations for
versions of the
VCS-18273 If you receive a notification of an urgent or high priority message while in a Vocera call or cellular call, the notification does not continue after the call is terminated. This is a known issue with the Apple iOS operating system.
VCS-19053 The incoming notification for a new message is not displayed when you are in the face ID pop up screen. If you lock the screen or the timeout interval is reached, the message is displayed. This is an iOS limitation.
