External numbers now displayed in call log.
If you have placed a call to or received a call from an external phone number or extension, this number is now displayed in the call log. If you are on the Wi-Fi network, you can tap the call log entry and then tap Call to call this number.
Genie now accessible from Contacts list.
The first item in the Contacts list is now a link to the Vocera Genie. Tap this item to access the Genie to make a call or to perform any other supported function.
Filter selections now refresh the Secure Messages screen immediately.
If you use a filter to specify what incoming messages are to be displayed in the Secure Messages screen, the screen is now refreshed right after you select the filter instead of when you go back to viewing the screen.
Vocera Collaboration Suite version 3.1.2 requires the following:

To install Vocera Collaboration Suite 3.1.2 for Apple iOS:
On your iPhone, open the email sent to you from the Vocera administrator.
Tap the first link in the email to go to the App Store to download and install the Vocera Collaboration Suite client.
When you see the App Store page for Vocera, tap Free.
Tap Install App.
Enter your password, and then tap OK.
After the app is installed, open the email again, and tap the second link to configure the app to connect to your organization's server.

DE15161 - Application no longer crashes when operating in background (iOS 11 beta).
Vocera has discovered that previous builds of
the
DE15179 - Auto-correct options no longer hidden under keyboard when supplying recipient information in existing message conversation (iOS 11 beta).
If you are using the beta version of iOS 11, and you add a new participant to an existing conversation by typing in the To field, the available auto-correct options are now no longer hidden under the keyboard.
Battery usage improved.
With this new release, users can expect to see an improvement in battery consumption when off campus (not connected to Vocera Wi-Fi). There will be no change when on campus (connected to Vocera Wi-Fi).
DE14101 – Calls no longer missed and contact status now not intermittently specified as off-campus when running iOS 10.3 or later.

DE7800 - Second breakthrough call now received with chime.
If you are in a call, and you receive an incoming urgent call, broadcast, or urgent broadcast that breaks through your existing call, the new call is now answered with a notification chime.
DE12333 - Message status now properly updated on iPad.
On the iPad, when you send a message and tap the message to display the Message Details screen, the recipient reads the message, and you then tap Back to return to the message conversation, the message status is now properly updated from Delivered to Read.
DE12490 - Camera no longer launches with black screen (iOS 10+).
On devices running iOS 10+, there was formerly a possibility that the camera provided with the device might launch with a black screen. This problem has been fixed.
DE12512 - Audio now resumed on Vocera call when interrupted by cellular call (iOS 10).
If you are using using VCS on a device running iOS 10, and are in a Vocera call and receive a cellular phone call, the audio on the Vocera call is now properly restored when the cellular call ends.
DE13678 - Permissions prompts now provided when requesting to use the camera or access the photo gallery.
This release includes the following known issues and limitations for versions of the
DE13030 - Phone number not saved in Call Log when outside number called from Genie.
If you place a call to an outside number using the Genie's "Dial an outside number" command, and then say the phone number that you want to dial, the number that you have called is not preserved in the Call Log.
DE13108 - Attempting to access FaceTime while device is locked ends Vocera call received from regular phone number (iOS 10).
If you are running
DE13112 - Call to Bluetooth-enabled phone is sent to the handset, not to the Bluetooth headset (iOS 10.2).
If your device is running iOS 10.2, and you receive a call when you have a Bluetooth headset connected to your device, the audio path for the call is the device's handset, not the Bluetooth headset.
DE14027 - Confirmation screen now appears when making external phone call (iOS 10.3).
If you are using
DE14739 - Camera focus not working after Vocera call (iOS 10.3).
If your device is running iOS 10.3 or later, you make a Vocera call, end it, and then activate the camera on your device, the camera focus
is not working properly. This problem will be fixed in version 3.2 of
DE15084 - Apple iPhone 7 with iOS 10.3.3 has reduced speech recognition compared to other Apple devices with the same operating system.
This behavior has been reported to Apple. If you are experiencing speech recognition issues with the iPhone 7 / iOS 10.3.3 combination, please open a case with Apple.
DE15575 - Message notifications delayed when running iOS 11.0.x.
If your device is running iOS 11.0.x, you may experience delays of up to 30 seconds when receiving message notifications while off-campus or not connected to a Vocera Voice Server. The audio on the delayed notification may be delayed more than 30 seconds, and will not override any device DND settings you may have enabled. The sent and delivery times may indicate the time you launched the app after receiving the notification, not the time the notification was received.
